LinkedIn’s mission to provide economic opportunity to everyone in the global workforce was aligned with Lynda.com’s mission to empower people to learn or improve their skills to further their professional careers. A large team of product managers, designers and engineers was formed to build a new learning product that would bring Lynda.com content to the LinkedIn platform with the mission to help people identify their skills gap and find the content they need to help them learn.</image:caption>

      <image:title>LinkedIn Learning Practice Exams - Background</image:title>
<image:caption>I have the opportunity to get hands-on with design work by working on company vision designs. Whether it’s 1,2 or 3-year vision, I work closely with leadership in Product and Design to come up with conversation starters to hopefully inspire teams to think beyond the current roadmap and look into the future. I’ve done vision work with leadership at Coursera and most recently, at Maven Clinic.</image:caption>

      <image:title>LinkedIn Learning Practice Exams</image:title>
<image:caption>Mapping out the workflow of the major uses cases helped the engineers understand the learner journey from end-to-end. It showed us where in the journey we need to make some serious considerations on how this may effect learners who simply did not want to be in any kind of continuing education programs. We also needed to think through what happens when learners fail the exam and want to re-take, if they want to watch the course again and what their certificate would look like should they pass. Overall, the diagram served as a great communication tool to the project team and gave everyone a sense of what we would need to build.</image:caption>

      <image:title>LinkedIn Learning Practice Exams - Exam Prompt</image:title>
<image:caption>When learners finish the course, they are prompted to take the exam. They can also choose not to take the exam here. This was an interim solution, in lieu of not having a full onboarding experience where we could potentially capture learners’ intent.</image:caption>

      <image:title>LinkedIn Learning Practice Exams - Certificate Type</image:title>
